She serves as an essential member of a professional team and is committed to providing personalized service and building strong client- relationships.
Born in Syracuse New York, Beth first came to the Lake Norman area of North Carolina with her family after her father’s airport burned down. A tragic situation turned into a love for North Carolina and the southern charm you can only find in the south. After graduating from North Mecklenburg High School and Central Piedmont Community College for Real Estate she launched her real estate career with Alyce Walker Realtors. Ivey served most of her long career with the same company however the company changed names being bought out first by Merrill Lynch Realtors and again by Prudential Carolinas Realty. Building developer/builder relationships she moved to Exit First Choice Realty and the Union County area of North Carolina to help lead a sales team of agents while assisting a local developer in developing and custom home sales in several as steam neighborhoods. She currently works at ProStead Realty closely with a team of over 180 experienced brokers, who help each other maintain one-on-one connections with clients and serve as valuable components in a multi-faceted real estate business.
Beth Anklin Ivey has fostered a reputation for understanding buyers and sellers and helping them to identify their needs. She is proud of the relationships she builds with her clients and with owners and their children for years, helping them grow and meet the changing needs of family and location, while advising them how to maximize the return on their investment. Beth is consistently first or second place in company sales yearly.
Primarily working at first with first time homebuyers she quickly learned how to help young buyers purchase “the American dream”. Then in later years specializing in development of neighborhoods, custom designing functional yet beautiful quality custom built homes for families to enjoy for years to come. Sometimes selling the same custom built home to family after family! If you ask Beth to tell you one of her favorite sales stories she will tell you it was moving a growing family “up” to their fourth custom built home! She will be there too, when they are ready to down size. Beth mastered the business through working side by side with a developer/homebuilder for over 16 of her 36 years’ experience. Her ability of being able to understand the struggles of both the developer/builder and the buyer/seller help make transactions run smoothly.
Despite all the demands of a successful real estate career, Beth Anklin Ivey, is fully committed to balancing work and family. She lives in Union County and has two adult children. Her son, Franklin, graduated valedictorian from North Carolina State College of Engineering in 2014 and she recently helped him purchase his second home in Raleigh North Carolina. Her daughter Sarah Jane who is obtaining her master’s in special education at UNCC owns her first home in Mint Hill and teaches at JM Robinson Middle School. In her free time, she enjoys being with her animals, baking, hiking, and photography.
Beth Ivey is also passionate about helping Battered Women’s Shelter of Union County, Volunteers at the homeless shelter with food prep and serving other and donates money to Union County Humane Society and Montgomery Humane Society.
